Eligibility Criteria
The Kitty Ferguson Legacy Scholarship is open to students who are passionate about the arts and committed to carrying that passion forward. We welcome creatives from a variety of artistic backgrounds and believe that potential, purpose and passion cannot always be measured by a GPA.
Before beginning your application, please review the eligibility requirements below.
Applicants must be current high school seniors or undergraduate college students through their senior year at the time of application.
Students may attend a two-year or four-year college or university. Your major does not have to be arts related, as long as the arts remain meaningfully connected to your goals.
Education Status
Artistic Commitment
Applicants should demonstrate an active connection to the arts through participation, practice, study, performance, creation, or other meaningful involvement.
Eligible areas include dance, music, theater, visual arts, photography, creative writing, digital media, production and technical arts and other creative disciplines.
Residency
Applicants must currently reside in the United States.
The Kitty Ferguson Legacy Scholarship welcomes eligible students from across the country who meet the scholarship requirements.
Application Integrity
All application material should honestly represent the applicant's experiences, goals and creative journey.
Applicants are expected to submit their own original work and provide complete and accurate information throughout the application process.
