Eligibility Guidelines
To honor Kitty Ferguson's legacy, the Scholarship Committee has established clear criteria for applicants. All candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for the Kitty Ferguson Legacy Art Scholarship.
Education Status
Must be a high school senior or currently enrolled in college
Artistic Commitment
Applicants must demonstrate an active and meaningful commitment to the arts. Eligible artistic disciplines may include, but are not limited to, dance, music, theatre, visual arts, creative writing, digital media, and other recognized forms of artistic expression.
Continued Connection to the Arts
Their education, training, career goals, or future plans demonstrate an intention to remain involved in or contribute to the arts. Their college major does not have to be arts-specific.
Residency
Applicants must be currently residing in the United States
Application Integrity
All submitted information must be truthful and accurate. The Scholarship Committee reserves the right to disqualify any candidate found to have provided false or misleading information.
